Barry Smith writes the syndicated humor column, "Irrelativity," for The Aspen Times in Aspen, CO, and has done so for a good dozen or so years now, so he's just starting to get the hang of it.
He also writes poetry, radio sketch comedy, short films (including the award-winning comedy "Diary of a Flagger"), a blog, little to-do lists and the occasional phone number on his hand. His one-man show, "JESUS IN MONTANA: Adventures in a Doomsday Cult," won the "Outstanding Solo Show" award at the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival and the Best of Fest Award at the 2007 Winnipeg Fringe Festival and sold out shows across Canada and the U.S. in 2006-07. In 2008 he’ll be touring two original, solo comedy shows throughout North America; the award-winning “AMERICAN SQUATTER,” and his latest show, “BARRY SMITH’S BABY BOOK: Who Saves This Stuff?!”
